Weddings in Greece
Weddings in Greece are fantastic events that really make your big day something to remember.
There’s lots of Greek islands to get married on, so your wedding can take place in a quiet Greek island, or somewhere more commercialised. You could even make this a two centre event for the happy couple, and perhaps even some of the guests might like to travel to another island to get more of a flavour of the country either before or after the wedding.
To get married in most of the Greek islands you need to be there for a minimum of 7 nights before the wedding can take place. Have a look at the below list, this is only a guide of what we can offer.
Rhodes
Rhodes has an average of 300 days of glorious sunshine every year. It is a land of contrasts offering secluded coves, golden sandy beaches, lively nightlife and centuries of history.

Crete
The largest most southerly of the Greek Islands, from its beautiful golden beaches and crystal clear waters to the breathtaking scenery of mountains. Crete holds an abundance of fascinating history.

Corfu
Corfu is also known as the ‘Emerald Island’ as it boasts natural beauty blanketed with lush emerald green vegetation. Mountains with steep cliffs fringe spans of golden sandy beaches, secluded coves and pebbly shorelines leading to crystal clear waters.
At least 8 weeks notice is required prior to your wedding, and your stay must be a minimum of 14 nights.
Skiathos
Skiathos is a jewel of an island set in aquamarine waters with over sixty beaches scattered around the pretty coastline. At night you can sample the nightlife with its chic and sophisticated atmosphere.
At least 6 weeks notice is required prior to your wedding, and your stay must be a minimum of 9 nights.
Santorini
This unique, crescent shaped island is one of the most famous islands in the world, as it offers some of the most stunning views of all the Greek islands.
At least 6 weeks notice is required prior to your wedding, and your stay must be a minimum of 7 nights.
Halkidiki
Halkidiki boasts natural beauty, with it’s dazzling beaches and marine wildlife. You will also be amazed by it’s large underground lake.

- Your stay must be a minimum of 9 days for weddings at Sani Resort or Oceania Club, or 5 working days for weddings at Eagles Palace.
Zante
Zante is the southern most island of the Ionian group. The landscape ranges from mountainous terrain in the north to gentle hills and flat countryside in the south, with green valleys, lush picturesque countryside and golden sandy beaches. The island also offers a lively nightlife.

Kefalonia
Voted amongst the top ten in a world scenic beauty league, Kefalonia offers spectacular scenery and magnificent beaches. It is home to the third largest mountain range in Greece, along with its marine wildlife in the area including dolphins, rare monk seals and the loggerhead turtles. Surrounded by it’s natural scenic beauty, it creates the perfect destination.

Thassos
A beautiful Island steeped in rich history. Thassos is a gem of the Aegean Sea with it’s crisp, sandy, golden beaches. The Island’s natural landscape boasts plush mountains hiding quaint villages, acres of woodland and sparkling waters.
At least 8 weeks notice is required prior to your wedding, and your stay must be a minimum of 7 nights.
Amorgos
Amorgos enjoys a beautiful natural landscape, green olive groves and sandy beaches. It is a year-round destination, with mild winters and a mass of flowers and herbs awakening the senses in spring, along with plenty of sunshine throughout the year.
